Alpha Care Medical Group Selects SynerMed
LOS ANGELES - February 12, 2007 – SynerMed, Inc., a leading state-of-the-art technology and services provider for health care organizations, today announced a contract with Alpha Care Medical Group, Inc. (ACMG). According to the terms of the agreement, SynerMed will provide a host of health care management services - including claims processing and authorization, credentialing and eligibility solutions - for the more than 14,000-member group that operates in the Inland Empire communities of Upland, Pomona, Rancho Cucamonga and Ontario.

For ACMG, SynerMed will employ the full suite of web-based products including its provider web portal, www.synermedconnect.com. Using this site, ACMG providers will be able to submit and reconcile their claims, submit and process treatment authorizations, verify eligibility and track their performance in the group.
SynerMed currently manages 172,000 members for provider groups in California, making the company one of the largest management service organizations specializing in state-sponsored programs in California. SynerMed anticipates strong growth in California-sponsored programs in 2007 and projects its managed provider group membership in California to exceed 200,000 this year.
