EHS Medical Group Acquires Inland Valleys Independent Physician Association
LOS ANGELES – February 4, 2009 – EHS Medical Group, a medical professional corporation that owns and operates physician networks throughout California, today announced the acquisition of Inland Valleys IPA (Independent Physician Association), also referred to as Redlands IPA. With a membership of 50 primary and 500 specialty physicians, the IPA provides care to nearly 8,500 patients in Riverside and San Bernardino counties, and will continue to operate as Inland Valleys IPA.
“As a physician-driven organization, meeting the needs of our contracted providers, and by extension their patients, is our first priority,” said Dan Gomez, EHS Regional Director, Inland Empire. “We have a strong relationship with Inland Valleys IPA and understand their need to improve work flow and cut administrative costs. We expect a smooth, seamless transition for both physicians and their patients.”
